open shoulders

Hi should be a nice easy one for you to answer. How do i prevent my right shoulder from pulling open when i introduce my right hand to the grip? I play off 11 and my bad shot is a pull especially with the driver and i guess shoulders aiming left at address isn't helping, thanks in advance.

Re: open shoulders

I bet you have a straight right arm at address...let it fold and relax into your right hip. Have someone wedge a club shaft between your arms at the elbows where the shaft is under your left arm but over your right.

Re: open shoulders

Thanks, i do keep my right arm fairly straight so as not to introduce too much slack in the arc , but i suppose my straight left arm should do that, thanks for responding, blacky.
