| Finally found an instructor who understands! I can't believe the last two guys I went to didn't see this really bad flaw in my swing. Maybe they did and just didn't explain it the way James McCormick did. He is the head PGA professional at my local club. I don't go there much because the course isn't in the greatest shape, but the pro is awesome. He heads another club as well, but it's way to far away. in a nutshell my lesson yesterday was by far the most informative, and beneficial ever. I left there feeling confident and striking the ball better than ever. Going back next week to go over some more stuff. This guy is going to take my game to the level I know I am capable of. Sorry for the long wind this is just an exciting time in my game improvement. My left side was completely breaking down in my backswing. I was kind of leaning toward the target and my shoulders would dip towars the ball causing me to compensate in the downswing leading to lots of fat and thin shots. Problem solved as he got my shoulders on a more level plane going back. Can't wait to play my next round. Sorry again for the long wind, there are instructors out there who actaully care about inproving the game, and the people playing it, and James McCormick is one of those, as well as the people on this forum who take their time out to answer all of our questions. hats off to these guys. Thanks, Nick Acquaviva |

| Re: Finally found an instructor who understands! He did take video before and after. What a difference in my swing. I am going back to see him Monday and he will give me the video then. He wanted to add this next lesson to it. As soon as I get it I will post some before and after. Nick |

| Re: Finally found an instructor who understands! Few years back, I took some golf group clinics with a pro. I saw quick improvement of my game. Then he stop doing golf clinic. I wanted to continue with him but the private lessons were too expensive for me. So I took lessons with another golf teacher (with years of teaching experience) but not a pro, to save some bucks. I spent almost a whole year and instead of helping my game, my game slowly went south. I always look forward for a good golf lesson but at the end, I felt disappointed. So I decide to go with my own. My game is slowly coming back. So yah, I can relate with you to having a good pro golf instructor. Thanks. Joeyg565 |

| Not to long ago I was overswinging and tilting towards the target. My father told me that my swing was almost over my ear, way to high and upright, was out of position dipping forward in the downswing with wicked leg slide with a little breakdown of the left arm and wrists. He had me swing much flatter, stay back and now I am releasing the club really well without any reverse pivot or anything. It still isn't a tour quality swing, nor do I expect it to ever be, but I am hitting it better and it sure looks a lot better too. Sounds like you have a great instructor who will help and a good find. Pooh
