| I started the year as a 20 and have come down to 14 now. I am new to this game - 4 years old. I used to be able to draw the ball naturally - I mean it just happened. I had no control over it. Recently after buying the new Ping I3 + I was still comfortable and moving the ball both ways. After about a month, I am now not able to draw the ball anymore. The ball goes higher, fades and lands soft. But have lost the draw. I hav decided to play for the fade - aim further left of flag. But I want my draw back !!!! Can U help ? |

| nkranga, I finished test on a Ping not long ago. I take it you got fitted for the club before you got it. Ping does a good job of fitting. Several lies and loft combinations. Most of their clubs are from 1/2* to 2* closed to help slicers get it more in the fairway. Since you had a draw the head of the club is probably setting up different than your old one. I had the same problem with it. I normally use a biggest big bertha. The head is also taller and shorter across than most of the newer clubs. The way I got a draw out of the club was to keep closing it and hitting until I got the flight path I was looking for. If it has to be too closed look to a swing fault or the shaft being too stiff. After trying the Ping I found it better that most of the new lines of clubs I've tested gave it an 8 out of 10 on overall performance. For me that's pretty high. The last club I gave an 8 to was the Callaway Steelhead's. GolfBald
