Lightning Strikes!!!!!

Greetings to all my golf friends'

I have a little story for you.

This saturday morning, I grabbed my clubs and headed over to my home par 3 course to play a little golf. I have been having lots of trouble lately with my early season "Push-slice" and I was still trying to work it out.

I called a very good friend of mine to see if he wanted to play a round with me. He was there in about 15 minutes, so we started our round. Toward the last part of the front nine, I started to hit my "lateral shot", ugh. I was trying to work it out and after the front nine, we decided to play the back nine. So, off we went. A funny thing, I had been hitting my driver very well even though my iron shots were rotten.

So, starting on hole number 5 and out of desperation, I decided to hit a very easy driver instead of my typical 6-iron on this 150 yard hole. It actually was a very nice strike and rolled right up to the fringe of the green and I made my par. So, we went to the 6th hole, a 160 yard par 3. I thought, well it worked pretty well on the last hole, I'll just choke up a little more and see what happens. So, I set up and hit my 1/2 to 3/4 driver shot. The ball took off on a very lovely trajectory and headed right for the green. As Roger and I watched the ball drop about 20 yards short of the green it took a bounce and landed on the fringe again but this time tracking straight for the hole. Our jaws dropped as the ball fell in the hole and I scored my first ACE!!

Can you imagine that one???
