| improving gradually I have just bought myself some mizuno mx-15s and my iron play has improved dramatically, had 2 rounds so far 97 and 91 when i get within 6 iron range i hit it pretty solid. i cant hit my woods too well at the moment so i'm taking irons off most tees just got to get longer off the tee to get myself within that range and i'm sure i'll be breaking 90 soon. Any tips would be most welcome and hear about other golfers progression. |

| I have been hitting straight irons, for a while and slice the hell of of my driver and fairway woods. with a slight fade using a 3 iron. I have been reading about swing planes and realized the reason for my slicing was I was swinging my woods and long irons like I swing my 7 iron, it was getting straight up and down. I now swing my woods on a swing plane similar to the angle I have the club, I am now getting a slight draw on my long irons and woods. I still hit my 5 iron to sw pretty straight now. It has taken 10 strokes off my game being able to hit my woods with more control. My average score where I play which is a par 70 has been around the 85 mark. I am avering 43 putts around. I need to learn how to putt and practice putting.
