Just finished playing the most inconsistent round of my life. I was almost tempted to leave after the first 9 holes. Started with some really good recovery shots to get par on the 1st, but then only bogeys and doubles. It wasn't a concious change in my game on the 14th tee, but gave myself an eagle putt after reaching the green in two. Missed that and tapped in for birdie, and kept taking shots off. I'm so confused as to what my game is doing! I imagine Vijay is thinking the same thing at the moment.

Last Thursady, July 29 (my birthday by the way), my buddy and I were playing and something similar happened to him. Played the front in 48 w/ 3 OB . Then shot 39 on the back. The AMAZING thing here is that I too shot 39 on the back to go with my 41 on the front. It was a good day!! ![]()

Re: Out in 48, In in 38 Golf is a great game... the one time i have shot under par, the next time i went out i was about +12. So unpredictable, i now have an 8 point check list if my swing starts to go downhill... let us know what your next round is like, bigknock
