My longest drive today.

I don't know what happened to me today but it was like extra power went into my shots, I started getting more distance each club about 4 yards extra carry. But the most surprising was the 11th hole par 4 it's 325 yards, and about 310 yards to the front of the green, I ended up in the green side bunker with my driver. about a 300 yard drive. I average about 260 yards with my driver, On the 17th 440 yard par 4 I drove the ball right down the middle of the fairway and had 160 yards left for the green. that's a 280 yard drive. and I also hit another 275 yard drive on the last hole aswell. I didn't putt today are the greens have been cored and sanded, and putting would be a waste of time. I hit 9 greens in reg today which is 3 over average.

Good for you! Sounds like all the hard work is starting to pay off! As with any swing change, it takes a while for the confidence to come. When the confidence is there, the muslces are a bit more relaxed and have a larger range of motion. Also, the muscles are stronger with consistant play. All these things add up to more distance. Keep up the good work!

Very good. I am a 15 year old i will be turning 16 in may and i have also just made a swing change. I am taking lessons from GolfTec, it is kind of funny becuase i hit my longest drive also today and i hit it 327 yards and i am hitting a brand new driver (ping G2). i dont wanna take all the fame but that is very good and i bet you can beat me in golf any day.
