My Driving!

Hi all!

I have just got my cobra 440sz and it says its a long and accurate driver, i used to be hitting my drives 170! and now im flying them about 230 serious! and i also drove the green when i was in spain on tuesday, i messed up the putting tho, and this driver is so accurate, i was playing with 3 others, 1 went left 2 went right, and the guy goes to me i bet you 5euros ill go straight and far, and with a lil bit of pressure i did!!! It may not be glory for you, but it was for me! Steve P.S but now im left with a cold

What shaft does the Cobra have?

What were you hitting before (head/shaft)?

Well my cobra has :

Loft - 10.5
Shaft - Reg YS 5.1 Aldila 50g Mid kick
Head - 440cc


I did have

Titliest 975 jvs

Loft - 10.5
Shaft - Proforce Golf 65 Reg flex Stiff tip
Head - 330

Im not to shure realy, but it has a reasonable good ball flight, ricky we should have a round together

Ball flight is inversely proportional to kick.

In other words, a low kick point creates a high ball flight, and a high kick point creates a low ball flight.

Sounds like you've got a couple of good drivers.

Yes i have but of course ill use the cobra, the titliest can just sit in my room

I've got the Nike NDS and it's great, pretty lofty at 13deg, so im not even sure if its a driver! Anyway, I hit most fairways at 240-50yards, a bit better than my 10.5 "Pine Ridge" driver (part of my starter set!)
Is there anything better than a long straight drive?

Knocking it in for eagle? Acing a par 3?

LOL, im still looking for that eagle! but today first hole i hit about 210yrd drive and then a 7iron to about 35ich and made birdie

I haven't made eagle or aced a hole either - but it felt pretty good watching my playing partner eagle from 150 yds out - out of a sand trap, no less. I can only imagine how good it felt to be him!

That felt good? I'd have died of jealousy!
