| Re: 2 long drive titles Good job, Gord. The only LD I've won was at a fun tourney last year. There were 2 balls ~ 10 yards longer than mine, but mine was in the fairway. |

| Re: 2 long drive titles Are you done knocking my win yet? Do you not think others tried hitting high draws which is why no one else could keep the ball on the fairway? It's still a tourney and I still need to put up a good score. I'm not about to jepordise a great score (I birdied the hole) by trying to hit a draw with the wind onto a 20 yard wide fairway gaurded with bunkers and 6 inch mounded rough. |

| Re: 2 long drive titles Obviously, as a new member here and with never playing a round with me, you have no idea of my abilities. We debated and I gave you 5 good reasons why I hit a fade. You couldn't come up with any other point that to hit a draw 3 different times - not a very good debate as far as I am concerned. Seems you have nothing to say other than that I don't know what I am doing. I'm not tempermental, just defending myself like anyone else would. My natural ball flight is a fade, but not limited to that. If you read the beginning of the post, I did hit a draw to win the first long drive hole. You should read more carefully before you start knocking others abilities.

| Re: 2 long drive titles I am not doubting your ability. I too would love to have a game. I am not dismissing your knowledge as I know nothing about you. But fell like you are dismissing mine - as a long time member, many have heard me speak of personal expereinces and I feel you are judging me without having any idea of the shots I am able to hit (and those I can not hit). My age has nothing to do with my knowledge - I play course management better than 95% of the golfers I know and I play the safest shot that will yield the best set up for my next shot. I am more than willing to sacrifice a few yards to be in the middle of the fairway. The prize was only a golf bag, so that was of no concern - I wanted the best shot into the green so I could get my birdie. But I still feel that a 290 yard drive, center cut, is quite adequate.
