| Re: Anyone ever made a "good buddy"? Wouldn't that be a 10-5? ![]() I've made 10's in the most unlikely of circumstances, and it usually is the result of a penalty stroke (or more) and a brutal short game. Take this weekend for example. Bombed a drive to within 50 yards of the centre of the green. Then I choked my club open on the approach, and had a nice toe mishit to... 50 yards to the centre of the green, just 20 yards left of where I started. Next up: Chunk my chip to the fringe - 30 foot putt. Three putts later, I hole out. Add a penalty stroke or two in there for good measure, and 10 shows up pretty easily. Hell - on a par 5, I bombed a drive, flubbed 3 approaches, got on, putted off, chipped on, and three putted for 10. I didn't score well in that tourney, but it certainly illustrates the point of the first post! Up here, we call it making a moose.
