| First Birdie :-) I'm 14 and I was playing my local course today (Shortwood). I'm not very good at golf at all. I started 4 months ago and my best (which I got today) is 136. Well I was on a 320 yard par 4 with a horribly huge slope to the left which had a lake at the bottom for anyone who got caught up inside it. I took my tee shot and it was perfect for the slope. Landed right at the top and bounced round nicely and ended up 250 yards from the tee. I then took my best ever chip shot, over a stream, it landed perfectly on the edge of the green and rolled around landing a foot from the hole. I sunk the putt and was so hpleased. I know this sounds pretty shocking to you (I mean 136 as my best score!) but I thought I'd go on about it anyways. Rob ![]() |
