| Surprise 88 I am not quite sure what is going on, but all the work I've put in over the last year seems to be paying off. I played the Navy course here in Manila, after scoring scoring my best 96 there two weeks ago. My goal was to just swing consistenly and keep my head from popping up too soon in my down swing. Everything worked but for two terrible holes. Still, I walked off with an 88 and a smile on my face. Scratch those two bad holes, and I am flirting with the high 70's. I know you can't scratch them, but... I attribute much of this improvement in the last month to my new driver, a club that has boosted my confidence a great deal and chopped 10 plus strokes off my score. I hope this is the neighborhood I stay in for awhile. Cheers! |
