| practise makes better got my first competitive game coming up soon so i did a recce on the course we will be playing (heaton parl manchester england) its a monster a real test of golf ability and physical endurance suffice to say i got round in 89 (19 over par)driving straightish pitching and chipping solidly and putting quite well for me. a good effort i think for a first attempt never played anything like it before! anyway the intention of this thread was to thank pnearn, gonavy, greg, ian h,neil18 and many others for their sound advise and their honest opinions. my game has jumped up a few levels in no time. ![]()

| Re: practise makes better actually practice makes permanent, make sure you are practicing the right thing. When you are hitting the ball well, practice. When you are hitting it badly play. Last edited by GreeBoman; 03-16-2006 at 11:02 PM. |
