Talking Hole-in-one!

I had to share. This past monday (June 9th) I had a hole-in-one. The hole was a 202 yd par 3. I used a 5 wood. It was awesome first to see the shot go "straight on a rope" but then it landed 30 ft from the hole...rolled straight...and disappeared. What an awesome experience. I hope all golfers get at least one in their lifetime to have the experience.

hole-in-one

Folks,

My hole-in-one took place at Highland G.C. in Highland Heights, Ohio, near Cleveland.
Keep playing and your turn will come!

Nice one Bud

Nice one Bud, how did this affect the rest of your round , did it get the adrenalin flowing or did interupt your concentration.By the way the closest I have been is 2" on a 137 yard hole.

Talking hole-in-one

Ernie,

Actually, it helped my round tremendously. 90% of the game is in your head. The confidence it game me allowed me to relax and swing with confidence. Usually, I have several swing thoughts going through my head. After the ace, I could just golf. The adrenaline did add a few yards to my shots though!

Thanks!

Cool well done

A hole in one must be pretty good to watch if your the person that achieves it . I've never really got close yet but I reckon I could get one. Most of the 70 year old golfers at my local club have had at least one hole in one so i think i could get one before I die.
