| Can i do it My personall best index is a 5.2 about 2 years ago, but since I lost my swing after that I ballooned up to a 8.5. Now that all the things I have been taught by john over the last six months are coming togethor, I am playing better and I am more consistent. On march 7th I was carrying a handicap of 8.2, as of my posting today I am now a 5.6. On the 29th of this month I am leaving to go surfing for six weeks so my goal is to by then be below a 5. I will be playing at least 6 times or so and in the last ten rounds my highest post has been an 83, with 3 of the last four being in the 70's.. SO the question is Can I do it? I can, and I will. |

| Re: Can i do it thanks terry, I have played this game for six years and six months ago I was on the verge of quitting, but now I love the game again. beyond set up I have consciously changed VERY little, basically just cupping back the right hand and keeping spine angle. Once I understood the concepts behind and the importance of set up, I was able to put together all the thing that I have read over the last few years. I now see the swing so much clearer now and understand any "secrets" are just minor tweaks that individuals do for their swings i guess in golf funormentals mean that if you do them you will have fun, if not you will go mental. |
