| Re: Feeling sorry for myself. well said b11nongolf. b0jangles , you really have to take this advice to heart. The next time you go out to play , remember this one truth ( and it will give you the edge ) Its just you against the golf course . not against your playing partners. Know your weaknesses and use them to your advantage. What i mean is , play to your weaknesses and not your strengths . if your best shot is a 3 wood to reach the green, then use your 8 irons and take two to the green. its all about course management. there are so many excellent threads posted regarding course management . use them as your secret weapon. once you do, you will be the one celebrating. bless you ........Terry

| Re: Feeling sorry for myself. If there is about a 16,000/1 chance for a one hole-in-one, and there are 4 players over 18 holes and assuming there are 4 par 3s, you seeing 2 on the same day -- according to my calculations ((16,000 / 4 / 4) ^ 2) is 1,000,000/1. You get a plaque made up for them after drinking all that free beer at the clubhouse. I would call a cab. |
