| This is what golf is all about! Out of an original 64 pairs me and my playing partner, two 14 year old 21 handicappers have made it through to the last 4 in an important fourball competition at our local club. After winning our quarter final match by 7 and 6 we now get to play a 0.6 handicapper and 3 handicapper in the semis this Saturday. And get this, the 0.6 player happens to own the club and the 3 handicapper is last years captain! Last edited by samburk; 05-31-2006 at 10:18 AM. |

| Re: This is what golf is all about! That's great! What scores have you guys been posting? Are you just playing that much better then your hdcp? Or is everyone else tanking? |

| Re: This is what golf is all about! When we play a round we can each normally post a score of about 4 or 5 under our handicaps so you could call us bandits. There were a couple of occasions earlier on in the competition however when we easily could of lost but luckily for us our openents were'nt on good form either and we managed to struggle through! |

Besides if you recorded your scores and did not cheat on your handicaps then you have nothing to apologize about. Your handicap is what it is and the fact you are shooting better scores will eventually lower it if it has not already done so significantly. Good luck Bob |
