| Nearest the Pin! I have been playing golf for around 15yrs, on and off, usually once a month, even less during the winter months, as you can imagine there's little scope for improvement, especially as I have been playing with the same clubs I bought all those years ago, which are 'blades'!Last week I was invited to a Christian Golfing Day at a local course, playing stapleford rules I managed a respectable score of 23 (winning score was 37), but my first success, I won the "nearest to Pin" competition! 4 feet from the hole, really pleased, as I was the first game out on the day and survived 7 other games behind, I still only made par on the hole though! Oh well, I still enjoyed this little land mark of my golfing career! Thanks for letting me share this with you, Deqsan Sunny (sometimes) Wales (UK) Last edited by deqsan; 07-16-2003 at 11:22 PM. |
