nearly did it.........break 80

hi all
ever had one of those days?
i had one today, had the afternoon off so went to my new found favourite course it was windy and damp as usual.
i knew i was in for a good round when i nearly drove the first hole.
front 9 hit 7 out of 9 faiways 7 out of 9 gir 7 over par
back 9 hit 7 out of 9 fairway 7 out of 9 gir 4 over par
first time ever all components of my game were good long may it last
recording it as my personal best!

Ahhh Putting.... My own achilles heel...

Next time out I plan on trying to bear in mind something Nicole said in another thread I read on here the other day...

"Putting is all about confidence, forget about the mechanics and just roll them in"

Or words to that effect (apologies Nicole if I've misquoted).
