| PB of the year so far. Finally got out in some nice weather today. As everyone knows I've been struggling with my scoring, previous 5 HCP, now about a 10. Today I didn't think about any scores, just enjoyed the day - and what a beautiful one it was, 85 and sunny with a nice 3-5 mph wind. Played my local course since I needed some confidence as I'm still preparing for the club championship in two months. Drove the ball well, had a career long 290 yard boom over some bunkers, yum. Had 2 chip-ins for birdie, one rimmed out for an eagle. Did miss some easy par putts, but managed to keep it together. All in all, finished with my PB of this year with a +3, 73 (par 70). Really felt good, and what was even better I got to use a raincheck from two weeks ago - so I played for free basically ![]() Happy golfing guys, take care!
