30th morning/lunchtime isn't really that good for me as I should be working but I might still be able to swing it. I'd certainly be able to meet up in afternoon and evening though.

31st morning/early afternoon and prob OK.

So, to summarise I might have to pass on the Sat round and just be there for the drinks Sat evening and the gold on Sunday. although that's not set in stone. It might help me with my plans etc. if I had an idea of when the golfing proceedings on both days would finish.

Also, some idea of costs; green fees, competitions and accom. etc. would be useful.

Sorry greg - will be struggling to make 30th.

I've put all the dates from all people who have expressed an interest and found the following:

Only 8 ppl have 'entered' which is lower that I'd have expected tbh.

Qassim, MarkC, KeithMUFC, Slater170, GregHutton, IanHancock, Myself and GolfBald? (who hasn't posted any available dates only interest)

There is NO date between 30th Aug and 4th Oct that all can make. The table of availability counts the 'Yes' I have also included Poss or Part attendance as 'Yes'.

30th/31st Aug - 4 + 2 = 6

6th/7th Sep - 4 + 2 = 6

13th/14th Sep - 4 + 1 = 5

20th/21st Sep - 5 + 2 = 7

27th/28th Sep - 4 + 1 = 5

4th/5th Oct - 6 + 1 = 7

The most popular dates are therefore 4th/5th Oct with 6 Yes and 1 Poss followed by 20th/21st Sep with 5 Yes and 2 Poss

Maybe it's the weekend thing thats the problem? Would more ppl be interested/available in a single day thing?

dont worry too much about numbers, these things are notoriously hard to co-ordinate but I will get a final number soon and let you know through this post.

It looks like many of the GTO crew from last year will be in attendance which is great news.

Watch this space for further updates regarding the date. I should have one set by the end of the week.
