The 2nd UK GTO Open ?

This sounds just up my boulevard as I live in Guildford! Lucky me

All I now need to know is when? I've already got a few week-ends locked out for various committments, but I'm probably free w/e 9/8, or any w/e after 23/8.

Also, a suggestion for organising dates - Google Calendar or Docs (Spreadsheet) If you want access to it, to View or Edit, you simply need a Googlemail account. Check it out.

As for Southern shandy drinkers... pffhtt. Ever tried a proper Southern Power Shandy - a pint of Stella with a bottle of Smirny Ice! I prefer real ale tho tbh.

If it had been my own wedding the church would already have been cancelled and i'd be 'google-mapping' directions to Horsham.


Very keen to defend the title - don't want to be like one of those boxers who have to vacate the title. Also it wouldn't be fair on the other players - it would be like winning a major without 'Tiger' in the field .

If the date can be changed then that would be great as I've been looking forward to it but I don't want it changed if it causes inconvenience for others.

what about 13th September... how does that sound to everyone interested... we can't have Tiger missing

Well I can do most of Sept but like Ian the 13/14th is out for me as Up in Manchester to see family.

Doesn't matter to me which day, which course ... I'll be there.

I'm not expecting any invites from the PGA Tour or European Tour (or any other tour for that matter!) I'm certainly not getting married or going to anyone else's wedding either.

I can't wait ... let's hope this time I score more than 30 points!

So is there a definite date for this or not? I've got other things being talked about in Sept now (inc Portugal for golf ) so I'd like to know and lock it down if possible.
