    Cheers Keith

I've played Hersham a few times and there is no handicap requirement - either to have an official one or in the case of me and my friends even to play any where near our unofficial one

On word of warning though; the course often imposes a "hedgehog wheels" policy for trolleys so those of you who don't carry should check with the course - mind you its short and easy walking.

Anyway, Greg, don't want to be awkward but what's the drop dead date for saying yes? I work most Saturdays and won't know until nearer the date whether I can get free.

Keith, as far as I know, when rule is in place then its enforced strictly - but it depends on course conditions. In any case no buggy / carts for hire but pull trolleys are available with hog wheels. Cynics (me and my mate Alex) suspect the rule and the availabity of trolleys to hir might be linked.

Re: The 2nd UK GTO Open ?

I can make that date, but only until 6pm-ish because...

... my band Jokin' Apart is playing a gig at the Anchor & Horseshoes in Burpham, Guildford that same evening.

Maybe the 19th hole could be there?

Post Re: The 2nd UK GTO Open ?

The 2nd GTO Open will have to be posponed until the new year due to lack of suitable dates and the winter days... I will put up a schedule of events for 2009 around Christmas.
