Site Re-Design

Hi Guys & Gals,

Due to an increasing number of problems with various unsupported addons to the forum software we have decided to perform some urgent maintenance here at GTO. The next couple of weeks will see many of the features you are accustomed to being gradually added again. The reason for the time frame is due to the large amount of content that we now have here at GTO, your understanding in this matter is much appreciated.

And Latest Posts are OK, but I kind of miss getting a list of the posts made since my last login.

LowPost42, The previous list of posts were just the most recent as with "Latest Posts" not a list of the posts made since my last login. Actually by using "Latest Posts" you can tell which ones you haven't viewed because the titles are in bold.

There is also an nice added feature at the bottom of the page "Total members that have posted on the forum in the last 24 hours".

We will be adding a list of latest gallery, latest classifieds soon as well.

Update on site - Arcade is now up and running with new games added soon. The Photo Gallery is also up and running again.

Great idea peter3, I will look into this. The next few weeks are likely to be busy. With adding all the previous lesson information and other pieces back on the site, and Christmas and all... I will make sure that this gets looked at as soon after.

Not sure what you mean, but I was referring to the idea that I would like a quick link to my own posts as a way to quickly find replies from others: this idea I first saw at golfwrx and I like it a lot.

Sorry if anyone got the wrong idea that I was slamming this forum or someone here. Not at all my intention.

You should get an e-mail every time someone answers your own thread or one you have partisipated in.

Also using you 'user cp' you can view all your posts from there.

I'm not sure how long they have been active. I joined earlier this year. It is a very nice site, a great complement to this one

Guys & Gals,

Did you prefer the site with the index page as before (showing news and latest threads etc) or are you happy having it as it is now (forum as the index page)?.

One thing that I have noticed is that the number of posts seem to have increased with the site the way it is now, which is a good thing.

What I could do is list the latest posts, photos, classified ads below the nav bar at the top of the page It's a dilema...
