topping my driver

Hi everyone,Im looking for advice on why im topping my driver. I 've just bought a Callaway ft-5 460cc. About 50% of my drives are just pee rolling 20-30% where as with my old cheap driver I never had this problem. All my iron shots are having a good connection though. Any advice would be much appreciated by all. Thanks Rich

Re: topping my driver

make sure you keep your elbows fairly close together so that you do not chicken wing out the front arm. This will shorted your swing arc and make you top the ball.

Also make sure you are making a full shoulder turn back and through so that you swing through the ball and don't jab at it.

Thanks for replying quickly. In regards to the 'chicken wing' business does that mean that my swing is coming down to steeply rather than around my body if that makes any sense. Thanks Rich
