G'day All, Our little Aussie social club 'Berowra Village Tavern Social Golf' plays once a month. Whenever I play the Longest Drive hole I normally end up out of bounds but with good distance. Always try for the nice easy swing but can't seem to get good distance and keep the ball in play. Any idea's? How can I get more power in my shots?

Re: Just want the middle!! Don't mind about the Questions! Ball goes straight then peels off to the right. I thought about something else. I used to hook the ball badly when I was using an Interlocked finger grip. I am now using a Baseball grip, could this have something to do with it?

Re: Just want the middle!! Sounds like your problem is in your lack of release through impact. It is probably not your grip type but I would recommend the Vardon grip. Try taking a slightly stronger grip where your hands are rotated a little more to the right at address. Try to make the back of your left wrist point down to the ground as you come through impact and keep your arms in the middle of your chest.
