Why can't I hit them???

For some odd reason I cannot hit my woods. I can seem to hit my irons just fine, evey the long irons, but cant seem to hit strait with my woods. The ball starts strait then slices hard to the right. Other times I seem to topp the ball for a whopping 30yrd drive. Lately I've been leaving the woods in the bag playing with nothing but irons. Any advice on what I may be doing wrong??
