New Long Drive Rules

What you people think about new rules of shaft lenght in Long Driving Tour?

There is new rule for lenght in 2005, it is coming down from 52" to 50".

Re: New Long Drive Rules

I think the rules for long drive should conform with USGA rules (at least in North America) which is 48". It would make it much more interesting and regular long ball hitters would only need one driver. I know if the rules were similar I would definitely be competing. If I really rip at the ball I can get 315 - 330 with a 45" driver so I think I could be competative with most out there on the circuit if they used the same length of driver.
