mizuno ax irons

hi guys, got a problem started golf last season and have really got the bug now,i went to american golf discount shop and was measured up for a set of clubs, to cut a long story short i ended up with a set of mizuno ax ladies size, light flex graphite shaft (second hand).
the problem is i can hit them well but not i am not consistent with them, i used my brothers clubs mens steel shaft ( ram wizards ) and can hit them futher and get the ball in the air a lot better. so do i stick with the custom clubs or pinch my brothers.
ps my brother is littleh my (twin brother) the little round one lol, who you gave advise to last week he is now out driving me, you set of sods

Re: mizuno ax irons

First thing - if someone hits the ball farher than you, it has nothing to do with size, strength or equipment. Well, very rarely. Distance comes from proper technique. My advice is get a few lessons.

Did you do much golfing before you got fitted for clubs? I think you have started building a faster swing than what they fitted you for and now the shafts have too much flex for you. But, first things first, get a few lessons to build your swing into a great swing and then worry about your equipment.

Re: mizuno ax irons

I used the second hand set of clubs I first brought for my first 14 months, before I even thought of buying a new set. Now I'm am hitting with much more swing speed and power and consistancy. I may need to upgrade my equipment. I use a stiff flex with my driver but every other club is still a reg flex.
