my drives go to the left

whenever i hit my driver my distance is good but the ball always goes to the left (I am right handed) its not really a slice its just like i line up 20 yards to the right and hit the ball straight i can hit my 5 wood just fine so i have switched to hitting my 5 wood instead of my driver i think what the problem could be is i need to grow into my driver ( i am only 15) because when i swing my 5 wood it flexes and my driver doesnt and they are both the same steel shafts
if anyone has any information on how i can hit my drives straighter and or longer with my driver please inform me i would really appreciate
thanks

Re: my drives go to the left

Gator,

It maybe due to your height, if the club is to long you maybe swinging around yourself on a very flat plane causing a hook, also you young guys always swing to hard in an effort to get it out there, this of course has the opposite affect..........flip your hands through the ball......ball goes left.

Try hitting your driver 150 yds if it goes straight then I think your swinging to hard.

Gator,

If that is the case then I suggest you check out the shaft, it may not be suited for you if everything else if fine with your other clubs.

Ian.
