| More roll I am using a Titleist 983E driver 9.5* with the stock Stiff shaft and have recently started using higher tees... however I am not getting much roll... On average I hit the ball 220mtrs - 240mtrs...Though the higher tees give me more consistency i am looking for that extra 15 mtrs... At the moment i am getting all carry and no roll... Is there something simple I can do to get that extra distance. When i hit a bad ball it is usually a push or a big draw/hook... My H/cp is 8.. Last edited by RacLt7; 02-19-2006 at 11:46 PM. |

| Re: More roll What kind of golf ball to you play? Anyway If you watch pro golf on TV, the new golf balls technology has forced players to go to more lofted drivers and their drives are pretty much all carry and very little roll. The golf balls (prov 1 etc.) seemed to be designed to increase ballspeed off of the face of the driver and also to land softly. |
