| Stiff vs regular shaft I'd consider myself still a beginner, and swing speed should fit the regular shaft. I tried the TaylorMade R7 425 today and was shocked that I actually liked the feel of the stiff shaft better. Comparing a normal swing with both shafts, the ball was launching straighter and I felt much more in control with the stiff shaft. Would I be making a mistake to go with the stiff shafts instead? |
