If slowing down solved your problem, then your problem was tempo.A lot of people get out of rythm as they start the downswing causing the club to get stuck behing them leaving the clubface open and causing the ball to go right or if drastic enough slice. Just take it nice and easy and you will find better distance and direction because you will find the sweetspot much more often. Have fun.

More good news...

Just played today and shot a 78!!!! 12/14 fairways hit with the big dog. Everything was straight and long, I seem to have fixed the problem I had, not a single slice all day. Must have been the most fun playing golf I've ever had. I gotta say that this club is most to thank though, it's so forgiving, and now that I'm using it correctly, my scores are getting lower and lower. Thanks again for all the help, you guys on this site are really great.
