| Re: Speed Start out with a very light grip pressure and maintain it all thoughout your swing (especially at the top of the swing and at impact). Swing as fast as it allows you to without needing to tighten your grip. Doing so will allow your clubhead to swing freely with increased speed. Warning: It won't feel powerfull but believe me the clubhead speed will go up!. [The only time that you would need to grip tighter is when your hitting out of the rough.] |

| Re: Speed Im far from being able to give any advice on a golf swing but I will say that staying loose and taking a smoother swing without trying to kill the ball gives me distance. Im almost always the longest driver in my group. |

| Re: Speed Play more golf, hit more balls, builds golf swing muscles. Most people fail to realize the reason pro golfer have such high swing speed is because they play every day, if they took six months off, it would be awhile before thier swing speed was what is was before the break, even for them. |
