| lost driving distance Really hard to say. I was going to buy a new driver about a month ago. but decided to stick with my old R540XD from taylormade. I tried the Cobra F Speed, Redline from adams golf, titelist 905r, PGF V8, and the R7 Quad neutral. All of them were 9.5 degrees, and none of them even came close to me hitting past the 250 metre board at the range with my old R5, and yes i was using ****py range balls. If you like the driver, if you hit it well (accuracy) and you still shoot a reasonable score, Then my change..... Just a thought. ![]() |

I too am like yourself and have a R540XD which for me is the bee's knees, I just love it. I tried the R7 and ping G5 but none of them gave me the confidence the R540 did or the distance. So I am in total agreement if it doesnt need fixing then dont fix it Cheers Mark |
