| Simple Feet Question What exactly should both feet be doing/feeling during the upswing and downswing for more power? I know the weight is kept between them and they are both pointed slightly outward but I was reading this article.. Swing sequence: Padraig Harrington: Swing Sequences: golfdigest.com The first time I set eyes on Padraig's swing, it was obvious we had some work to do. He had no leverage. He hit the ball no distance. He was a poor striker. The flight on his shots had no penetration. His shoulder plane was too flat. And his right elbow was behind him, not in front of him, on the backswing. I started with Padraig's footwork and leg action. At the top of his backswing, his left heel worked outward, to his left. When he swung through, his right heel worked outward, to his right. Now they move up and in at the same stages. We worked on that for a long time. What does it mean? ![]()
