| Re: Gotta just go with what I know, I guess... i say, keep doing what your doing. i use to play squash for 5 years before taking up golf. so my right hand (right hander) was use to staying open as you always hit teh squash ball up... anyway.. i took the same grip as you.. basically a softball grip which allowed my hands to rotate over and not slice the ball. as i continued on playing the sport my grip changed to something more traditional, but i don't overlap any fingers. i think in the early stages of golf, go with what works for you and change things as they need changing. best of luck in the future. |
