Re: Minimal number of golf clubs.. Hi, 5 clubs is probably the least amount you would want to show up with at the course. Check out this thread to get some ideas http://www.golf-tuition-online.com/v...ead.php?t=1587 (Which 4 clubs?)

Re: Minimal number of golf clubs.. Some have said that you can get around a course with a 7 iron, PW and putter (the idea being you'll never hit a GIR, but you'll be close, and be able to pitch on and one putt).

Re: Minimal number of golf clubs.. A friend of mine and myself, used to pull a 6 iron and putter out of or bags and put 4 balls into our pockets and fly arounf the corse. we only use maybe 4 or 5 more shots to play. that is because of the two 440 yard par 4's, and a 600 yard par 5. when you only hit a 6 iron 165 yards it's pretty hard to reach these greens in reg or gety close to the pin on your next shot. I beleive that with a 3 wood, a 4 iron a 8 iron a sw and a putter you should be able to go aroun with a good score.
