| Re: Damaged Driver thanks for that mizunoman im not sure sending it back would do anything cos i can remember banging it by accident on the corner of a metal rimmed platform about a week ago,just wasnt sure if it would be wise spending money on it when i could just put it on a new one thanks for clearing that up ![]() |

| Re: Damaged Driver I would send your R580 back to Taylor Made. They are known for great customer service. What's the worst that can happen? Best scenario is a new driver. Give it a whirl..... |

| Re: Damaged Driver I just got my R580XD back from the retailer for the same reason. I hit it about 12 times and the head cracked. I sent it back and they sent me a new one, if it does it again I will be looking for a new brand. |

| Re: Damaged Driver That's what you get when you combine HUGE heads with a high COR and high swing speeds. The material is so thin to keep the weight down that they easily crack/break/dent. I know a company that tells you that if you swing over 115 mph to not bother buying the club head because it will break. |
