Custom fitting old clubs

I've been playing for the last 3 months with a set of 7 yr old Wilson Fat Shafts. If I have these adjusted to fit me perfectly will I need to alter my swing (which has only just started working well) or should I just keep them as they are?

Hi Robin,

Custom fitting clubs means they are fitted to your height, build, swing speed, type of ball flight you produce, even grip size etc.......

In answer to your question No you don't have to change your swing at all, the clubs will be fitted to your swing.

Since it sounds like you've worked your swing around your clubs, let them be.

If your swing is good, then don't change it. If you have glaring swing flaws, then no amount of custom fitting can fix these problems - get your swing corrected if this is the case. Also, our swings evolve as we age. Keeping the exact swing as you had seven years ago would be very difficult.
