When using the Driver? Left hand in relation to ball position?
I think I stumbled across something today. I accidently moved in closer to the ball and positioned my left hand more parrallel with the club face. Seemed awkward at first, but my drives started going straighter and farther. Also, I was able to follow through more naturally. Before I really had no follow through whatsover. I knew I was losing power by not following through but didn't know how to fix it. Am I on the right track? My balls started going about 30 yards farther!

Don't know about the hand position but I know that standing closer to the ball and taller with a slightly steeper swing has made an amazing difference to my driving. Used to hit 2 or 3 fairways per round compared to 9 of 13 last time I went out... now it's just the rest of my game that needs sorting out!

Seeyoutoo,

It nice to see an improvement stumbled upon through trial and error, However You have touched on something very important to continue your game.

That of course is initial set-up, work on posture and alinement first and the swing with start to have room and improve your contact and distance.
