You hit over 300? what kind of driver do you have? I don't think i am alone in thinkin it tough to hit that far with swinging in one practice session.

i used my uncles driver and i'm not sure what it is....i have a friend at work that told me never to swing at the thing like you hate it cause you'll screw it up everytime so i just took my time and tried to be accurate more that power but i guess i got more of the power into it. i'm just trying to figure out how to hit it straight

Hey, I'm a new golfer as well, so advice is probably my downfall!

But one thing that did help me a lot was the lessons from this site. It taught me how to line up, grip properly and shuffle my feet so the ball was positioned in the sweet spot.

I suggest you try that.
