Smile Hands ahead or level with club when driving ?

I was wondering when I am Driving of the tee, I try to 'sweep' the ball away but I am not sure whether my hands should be ahead of the Club at impact or should it be level with it and whether my wrists should be cocked or uncocked. Any Tips ?

Re: Hands ahead or level with club when driving ?

Your hands should be ahead of the clubhead on every shot, and your wrists should be uncocked. If your hands are behind the clubhead, you'll have a very short shot (even if you didn't chunk it or thin it), and if your wrists are still cocked, you'll get a big, ugly push at best or a hosel rocket at worst.

If your hands are behind the ball at impact as well as not turning your hips fast enough cause a slice or push slice?

Probably a push with shorter clubs and a push/slice with longer clubs. That's been my experience anyway.
