Re: mad slicer

Pretty hard to diagnose without seeing your swing. But, most new golfers fail to shift thier weight, they swing down with thier shoulder. Hence the dreaded outside-in swing, with no weight shift or shifting back to far and not shifting forward. Remeber what ever direction the hands are moving, so should your weight.

Try making a few swings by going to the top of swing and at the same time bring your left over to your right foot (I assume your playing right handed), then start down by moving your left foot back to it's previous position as you swing down. Don't swing down until you begin this step move and your weight starts moving. This drill will give you the feeling of shifting your weight, if you shift to much you fall down, as an added benifit, if you swing to hard you fall down too, and it almost impossible to come over the top doing this. The key here is to learn to stay in balance from start to finish. If you ball goes dead right or continues slicing, work on your grip to get the clubface squared up.
