| Lobbing/chipping I have a problem with chipping or lobbing i have a club which says LW/PW which i guess means lob wedge and pitch wedge but on the bottom of the club it says S but the manufacture if "Sting". I have problems with chipping i seem to hit it too soft so it dont hit the green or too hard so it ends up in a bunker! ![]() |

| Re: Lobbing/chipping hi infinity, these are "feel" shots and take time to get consistent results i should think the "s" stands for sand wedge think you need to be more specific about the shots you are trying to make in order to get the best advice |

| Re: Lobbing/chipping hi infinity, these are the shots we need to spend more time practising! the more practise you have the better the feel is for these shots.really you need to learn how far the ball travels with with a 1/4,1/2 and 3/4 backswing. if there are no hazards between the ball and the hole i would be playing a little bump and run shot choke down on a 9 iron hands in front of ball weight favouring my front foot slightly.play the ball off my back heel and then its just a short nice and easy backswing hope this helps ![]()
