What's in the bag besides clubs?

OK, I'm an absolute beginner, just bought a set of clubs. The bag has all these pockets - what are they for? What do golfers typically carry with them in their bags? I can guess the easy ones like balls and tees, but what else?

Also, the bag has four D-rings to hang stuff from. What stuff?

i hang a 1 dry and 1 damp towel and small wire brush for cleaning grooves from mine!
in my bag i have a spare glove,waterproofs,bottle of water,snackbar,fruit,spare pencils golf spike key and spare spikes,ball marker,divot repairer!

I've got two towels, one wire brush, one soft bristle brush and scorecard holder on my bag. In one pocket I keep my balls. The other pockets hold my water bottle/beer, snack, divot tool, spike key, a couple of spare gloves, tees, ball markers, and distance finder as well as a few extras like my David Leadbetter's "Answer, swing weight(attaches to any iron) and plastic clicker type scorecard in case I forget to pick up a real one at the clubhouse.

In addition to what has already been mentioned, golf balls, tee, markers, divot tool, etc.. I also have a small med kit (Band-Aids, aspirin, bug bite stuff, etc..), definitely bottle water, always have an umbrella, rain suit, club cover that came with the bag (if you don't have one, get one). I have a range finder (just a cheap binocular one) and my cell phone (turned off) but there if I need it. I carry at least a dozen balls, combination of 2 or 3 sleeves new and the rest old, I carry 3 gloves, to change out on hot days or in rain, two towels, one on a "D" ring and the other folded in the bag pocket.

Hanging from the Rings:

- Club Tag and players license. Must be carried visible in Denmark.
- Towel
- Wire brush
- Strap for carrying the bag

In the pockets:
- Keys, wallet, cell phone etc.
- Rain suit
- Windbreaker
- Extra gloves
- Cap
- Bottles for water
- Chocolate bars
- Extra balls (and balls found on previous rounds)
- Tees, divot tool, ball marker, spikes, spike wrench, tape, rubber plastic tees (always bring my own to the range to ensure correct tee height), wrench and weights for my R7 clone driver, assorted items that I never need anyway - except for that one day when I don't bring them along.

- Most important of all: THE RULE BOOK !!!
