| Re: my first month trying to play hi the best tip i can give you is dont try and hit the ball to hard, just work on swinging the club at a nice relaxed pace. you wont hit it as far but you will hit it where you want it to go more often. best of luck. bill |

I'm sure you can get a round or two in, in Sherbrooke in November, sure it's a bit chilly. I have managed to play in November in Gatineau. Also, check out this site: OttawaGolf - The Internet Resource For Golf In Canada's Capital (it has a Montreal and surrounding area section). |

Welcome to the forum as you will find out there are lots of people on here that love to help out with problems plus you will meet some great ones as well. My adivce for a novice after attending the GTO UK event is to get yourself a copy of the book "Nail It" from 3skills golf tuition. I must admit it is a great book and within 20 mins from being taught the skill from the book by one of 3skills teaching staff I was hitting shots more sweeter and longer. Hope it helps and once again welcome. Cheers Mark |
