Who is going to win the majors this year?

The field is looking stronger and stronger at the top and it doesn't seem like there are any clear cut winners for the majors. Who are your picks?

Masters - defending champion - Phil Mickelson
US Open Championship - defending champion - Retief Goosen
The Open Championship -defending champion - Todd Hamilton
PGA Championship - defending champion - Vijay Singh

My picks for 2005:
Masters - Sergio Garcia
US Open - Phil Mickelson
British Open - Ernie Els
PGA Championship - Adam Scott

Re: Who is going to win the majors this year?

I reckon Tiger is now hitting the ball so well he'll be close in them all & will win 2 . St Andrews is the British Open venue that most suits Tiger so I reckon he will win there . With his length & his normally ultra reliable putting stoke I think he will also win Augusta . So my tips for 2005 are as follows...

Masters - Tiger Woods
US Open - Ernie Els (with Goosen a very close second)
British Open - Tiger Woods
PGA Championship - Retief Goosen
