Re: Ford Championship Mickleson doesnt look like dropping 2+ shots so its over to Tiger to show whether he is back to his best or not. I cant see both of them leaving the door open for any others to sneak through from that far back.

Re: Ford Championship Damn Tiger. He is a great athlete, a great spokesman and an amazing person. The problem I have is how is handled in the media. They make it out to seem that if anyone else does well it's either pure luck or Tiger played poorly. It almost seems that the media trys to take away the credibility from all the other players. Maybe it's just me....

Re: Ford Championship That was a great finish from both players. Its really good to see the top guys being aggressive right to the finish. Also from the world of the twisted how good was it to see Vijay go from 1 bunker to another (cant recall which hole it was)- I can now say I can play like Vijay!!

Re: Ford Championship I've been playing only three years but have really fallen in love with the game so it's hardly a day that goes by that I don't at least have a wedge in my hand hitting balls somewhere safe and legal. I said that to say I'm slowly learning about the marvellous accomplishments of players in the past like Bobby Jones, Palmer, Jack Nickolaus, etc.; and I've played enough to have great respect for these guys, low handicappers and, of course, any pro. As far as I'm concerned though when Tiger eagled that 600+ hole yesterday he proved he's definitely one of the best players that ever played the game and that will be playing the game for a while. To be fair though and realizing that successive generations always get better at skills; I see a lot of very young children on the ranges with their dads and wonder if 15 years from now they'll be a bunch more young players accomplishing things that leave us speechless. I just wish one of them was my kid so I won't have to be concerned about surviving in retirement. Maybe I should use my golf money towards my retirement planning but heck a guy has to have a little fun somehow, not to mention other benefits I get from the game. Anyway; feel free to educate me on equally awesome accomplishments of great golfers of the past. Like I said; I'm a newby. Thanks for listening.
