Re: Ford Championship

Hope all the top boys have a howler and some unknown tour pro wins and secures his card. Brian Davis is a good top 10 finish bet, he is playing well and seems to like the style of golf required.

I would expect Mickelson to have his game face on for this one since he is sponsored by Ford, though, he's hard to beat when motivated.

I would imagine Tiger wont win now until Augusta unless everyone backs away from him. He will be practising his shots for the Masters now I would think, the big ones are all that matters to him now. He may be trying a bit harder so he can get top spot back but A win at Augusta will put that in place, and what better way to do it than with his fourth green jacket?

D.

Re: Ford Championship

He isnt top of the rankings...thats what I meant.

You count Vijay out at your peril. He will be in the mix come Sunday if he has anything like even an average week.

I fancy Adam Scott to continue his fine form as well.

Re: Ford Championship

I like Phil Mickelson. He is playing very well.

I would bet that Tiger might do very well at Bay Hill. I would even bet he wins Bay Hill because he has won there several times before and this is Arnie's tournament.

Re: Ford Championship

This year the cream has risen to the top. It's anybody's tournament. I think this tourney will be between Woods, Goosen and Phil, no that he has learned to but on Bermuda grass. Handily enough, all three are in the top 11 as I write this! If Sergio could improve his putting, he'd be hard to beat as well. Adam Scott continues to climb up the rankings, but I don't think he will challenge this week. That being said, who would have ever thought that Olazabal would be 8 under after the first round? Would I ever love to see him make a run for a few more majors!

My pick: Goosen

Re: Ford Championship

Mickelson will win, because he wants the ford GT big time. Also nobody can touch him if he keeps playing the way he is. But you never know, maybe Marco Dawson (64 today) or other relative unknown will pull it off. You never know these days.

What a round by Tiger yesterday, should make for a fantastic final round showdown.
